I love this new "farmhouse modern" look. Even more than that, I love how this look is being interpreted in kitchen design. This white-on-white-on-white cottage kitchen was featured in House Beautiful. The unfitted furniture style cabinetry isn't for everyone, but I love it, and think it is an appropriate choice for a home that was built in the 1880's. This kitchen by Bulthaup brilliantly re-interprets the farmhouse style table as a stainless steel work center. Love the wood floors and ceiling detail as well.
